World of Warcraft pierde 11 milioane gold şi 76,000 conturi

Îi poţi "înjura" pe Blizzard pentru că l-au împiedicat pe World of Warcraft să atingă mai devreme o populaţie virtuală de 7 milioane jucători. Doar luna trecută, viscolienii au închis peste 76,000 conturi WoW, iar ca urmare vreo 11 milioane gold au fost eliminaţi din economia jocului din Europa, SUA şi Coreea. Când te gândeşti ce de epix mounts puteai să-ţi iei de banii ăia... Sau că, în viaţa reală, 11 milioane gold te-ar costa undeva între 1.5 şi 2 milioane dolari!

Ca de obicei, vasta majoritate a conturilor spânzurate au fost asociate cu cheating folosind programe third-party, sau cu farming de gold şi obiecte - activităţi ce violează termenii de folosire a lui World of Warcraft, şi pot afecta zdravăn economia unui realm (ca să nu mai spun de satisfacţia celorlalţi).

"We will continue to aggressively monitor all World of Warcraft realms in order to protect the service and its players from the harmful effects of cheating. Please note that selling World of Warcraft content, such as gold, items, and characters, can result in a permanent ban of the involved accounts from World of Warcraft", avertizează viscolienii.

"Many account closures come as the direct result of tips reported to our Game Masters in game or emailed to our Hacks Team by legitimate World of Warcraft players. If you suspect that a World of Warcraft player is using an illegal third-party program to farm gold or items, or is otherwise violating our Terms of Use, please report the suspected infraction to the Game Master team using the In-Game Help Request. All reports will be investigated, and those that prove false will not result in corrective action."

Cu expansion-ul The Burning Crusade apropiindu-se pe zi ce trece, şi beta-ul deja în toi, vom asista cu siguranţă la o nouă explozie demografică în World of Warcraft. Iar odată cu ea, va veni şi un tsunami de noi conturi închise.
