Virtua Fighter 5 renunţă la exclusivitatea pe PlayStation 3

Sony a fost trădat din nou! De data asta, SEGA sunt cei care au renunţat la o exclusivitate de PlayStation 3, pentru Virtua Fighter 5. În anunţul lor de azi, aceştia spun că jocul de cafteli next-gen va fi lansat şi pe Xbox 360, dar recunosc că asta se va întâmpla abia la câteva luni după apariţia sa pe PS3. La cum stau lucrurile acum, Virtua Fighter 5 ar trebui să-i dea bătaie pe PS3 din 20 februarie 2007 în America de Nord (şi evident nu mai devreme de martie în Europa), în timp ce versiunea de Xbox 360 e programată pentru lansare în vara lui 2007.

Jocul este dezvoltat de echipa celor de la SEGA din Tokyo, AM R&D Development No.2 (sau simplu "AM2"), iar portarea sa pe consola next-gen Microsoft va genera cu siguranţă o concurenţă aprigă cu seria Dead or Alive a celor de la Tecmo. Şi din câte se zice prin lumea capitalistă, concurenţa face bine la joacă.

Mi se pare mie, sau au început să intre în panică publisher-ii, din cauza lipsei de console PS3 - şi implicit potenţiali clienţi pentru "exclusivităţile" lor de PS3?
