Wakfu MMORPG, la 1000 ani după Dofus

Francezii de la Ankama Games s-au îndurat în sfârşit să povestească - şi să arate - mai multe despre viitorul lor MMORPG tactic, Wakfu. Acesta poate fi considerat lejer drept un sequel Dofus 2, din moment ce jocul se desfăşoară în aceeaşi lume, doar cu 1000 de ani mai târziu. Deci dacă ai jucat Dofus şi ţi-au plăcut grafica viu colorată şi creaturile sale simpatice, ai toate şansele să te îndrăgosteşti şi de acesta.

Ankama lansaseră site-ul oficial Wakfu în urmă cu o săptămână, şi promit să adauge conţinut nou în mod regulat, pe măsură ce proiectul avansează. Toate cele 12 clase de personaje din Dofus vor reveni în Wakfu, împreună cu altele noi; dar pe moment, singura prezentată pe website e rasa Xelor:

"Xelors control time and they know how to command strict obedience to all related mechanisms like chimes, clocks and pendulums. Therefore, Xelors enjoy playing with time... either to slow down their enemies or to teleport themselves wherever they want."

Un asemenea exemplu de "teleportare" poate fi văzut în primul trailer Wakfu, ce poate fi urmărit online pe site-ul jocului. Iar local avem acum un prim set de imagini, alături de două wallpapers curăţele. Cât despre povestea lui Wakfu, francezii o spun cam aşa:

"The story of Wakfu takes place a long time after that of DOFUS. An ogre named Ogrest gathered all the six Dofus and gained boundless powers. The ogre offered his beloved the dragon eggs. But she turned down the present though worthy of the gods themselves, and Ogrest started shedding tears of rage and pique. The tears of the ogre made the ocean level increase so much that parts of the World are now submerged to the inhabitants' great displeasure. Now gods and heroes of the World are starting a new adventure before reaching Ogrest and confront him in an ultimate fight!"

Primele testări beta vor începe cândva prin 2007, însă campania de recrutări pentru beta-testers va fi lansată în cursul următoarelor zile. Aşa că fii pe fază! Sau mai simplu, înregistrează-te pe site-ul jocului pentru a fi anunţat la timp.
