EA lansează The Godfather pe PS3 & Wii, anunţă oferta de PS3

La un an după ce făcuse ravagii pe PC şi consolele "last-gen", The Godfather revine săptămâna asta pe încă două platforme, odată cu lansarea ediţiilor de PlayStation 3 şi Wii ale jocului celor de la Electronic Arts, în America. Pe PS3, jocul a fost botezat The Godfather: The Don's Edition şi costă $59.99, în timp ce fanii Wii ar trebui să se uite după o cutie pe care scrie The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, având un preţ mai puţin intimidant de $49.99. Ambele versiuni au fost dezvoltate de studioul EA Redwood Shores, şi ar trebui să fie disponibile în toată lumea mâine, 23 martie, deloc întâmplător deodată cu lansarea consolei PlayStation 3 în teritoriile PAL.

"The Godfather Blackhand Edition redesigns the motion-based Blackhand Control system specifically for the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. The power is in your hands as you take down the opposition, or point directly at the screen using the Wii Remote for pinpoint firearm accuracy.

The Godfather The Don's Edition contains The Corleone Expansion Pack with new compounds to control, missions to conquer, and the new Corleone Challenges mode. Într-un comunicat ulterior emis azi, Electronic Arts au mai anunţat cele şase jocuri pegătite pentru lansarea europeană a PS3-ului de mâine, şi anume:

- Def Jam: Icon

- The Godfather: The Dons Edition

- Need for Speed Carbon

- NBA Street Homecourt

- Fight Night Round 3

- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

EA vor adăuga peste 20 de alte titluri PS3 pe listă de-a lungul următorului an, inclusiv jocuri ca Burnout 5 şi Army of Two.

UPDATE: Scuze de încurcarea preţurilor, ediţia de Wii a lui The Godfather e de fapt cea mai ieftină (mă şi miram...). Mulţam' Michael pentru corecţie.
