Demo-uri Pirates of the Caribbean 3 şi Overlord

Întrucât atât jocul, cât şi filmul pe care se bazează au fost lansate luna trecută, era şi cazul ca Disney să ne ofere versiunea demo pentru Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - zis şi Caribbean: At World's End prin cercurile oficiale (chit că împrumută şi din al doilea film, Dead Man's Chest... dar hai să nu ne împiedicăm de amănunte). Aşadar, fără prea mare tam-tam, şi fără vreun detaliu cu privire la conţinutul său, site-ul oficial oferă demo-ul PotC: At World's End pentru toţi PC gamer-ii şi/sau fanii căpitanului Jack Sparrow & co.

O lansare de demo mult mai bine sincronizată, însă, le revine celor de la Codemasters şi Triumph Studios, pentru iminentul şi maleficul lor joc action-adventure Overlord. Vei găsi supra-ponderatul demo (de peste 1 GB!) pe site-ul Overlord, dacă poţi trece testul simplu din pagina de start, sau la acest link direct FTP dacă n-ai vreme de joculeţe prostuţe. Cât despre conţinutul său, iată descrierea oferită de Codies:

"In this Overlord demo, players don the Overlord's illustrious armor and assemble a team of Brown Minions (the brawlers) to head off on a session of serious destruction in the once tranquil area of The Mellow Hills. Descending upon the unsuspecting populace and wildlife, the Overlord must use his loyal minions to gather life-force from the somewhat unwilling sheep, grow the size of his minion horde, and let the Halflings-gone-wild know there's a new boss in town. Top that off with Minion upgrades, including better weapons and pumpkin helmets, throw in some peasant intimidation and a show-down with the Guard Troll at the Slave Camp, and players will have a taste of the havoc that a Minion horde can wreak."
