Project Gray Company - un RPG next-gen marca EA

RPG-urile nu sunt tocmai primul gen de jocuri care-mi vin în minte când mă gândesc la Electronic Arts. Şi totuşi, gigantul american a scos la iveală un proiect role-playing next-gen la care lucrează de peste un an de zile în cadrul studioului său intern EA Redwood Shores, sub titlul provizoriu Project Gray Company. Megaloman sau nu, Executive Producer-ul jocului e Steve Gray - care, împreună cu Chris Tremmel (Creative Director), au contribuit în ultimii ani la trei titluri din seria The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers, The Return of the King şi The Third Age. Nici o platformă nu a fost specificată pentru proiectul Gray Company, dar o inspecţie sumară a codului sursă al site-ului oficial ne îndeamnă să credem că avem de-a face cu un titlu de PlayStation 3 şi Xbox 360.

Cât priveşte gameplay-ul, următorul pasaj de pe site-ul jocului e tot ce se cunoaşte momentan:

"The action takes place in a massive open world where you can go anywhere you want, and the characters in this world are powered by an incredible simulation AI based on the same technology used by the makers of The Sims 2. The story of the game is built around a series of Story Quests. You can choose to follow specific Story Quests, embark on a range of other types of quests, or set off on your own adventures in the massive open world environment."

Ceva mai informativ m-aş fi aşteptat să fie primul trailer Designer Diary, însă evident că m-am înşelat amarnic. E oarecum amuzant, dar dacă vrei să-ţi faci o idee despre atmosfera jocului, mai bine aruncă o privire peste aceste artwork-uri.
