Command & Conquer 3 ajunge şi pe Xbox 360?

S-a scurs ceva vreme de când ultimul joc Command & Conquer ateriza pe o consolă (în 1999), şi s-ar putea să mai treacă mult şi bine până să se întâmple iar acest lucru... Dar, la fel de bine, s-ar putea întâmpla chiar mai devreme decât ne-am fi aşteptat! Cel puţin coform lui Gaming Steve, al cărui ultim podcast susţine că viitorul RTS Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars va fi lansat "cu siguranţă" şi pe consola Xbox 360:

"I know for a fact that they are doing this because these are the same guys, the same team who's doing Command & Conquer 3, and they're definitely gonna release it for the 360--you heard it here," he proclaimed. "They're really using Battle for Middle-earth II as a springboard, a test to see how it's gonna work for Command & Conquer 3. So they're almost trying to use this as a beta, a very good beta. So when they kind of streamline this, when they design Command & Conquer 3, they'll be able to get a lot more information and they'll be able to come out with a really strong Command & Conquer 3 both for the PC and the 360."

Totuşi, pe cât de sigur de sine sună tipul, pe atât de neconfirmate i-au rămas speculaţiile, odată ce şi-a îndreptat inchizitoriul spre Louis Castle - creatorul seriei C&C, co-fondatorul fostului Westwood Studios, şi actualmente Vice President of Creative Development la studioul EA din Los Angeles. Castle a refuzat să răspundă la orice întrebare legată de Command & Conquer 3, dar, ce-i drept, nici nu a negat o versiune de Xbox 360 păstrând tăcerea.

Aşa încât rămâne de văzut ce va ieşi din Battle for Middle-earth II pe Xbox 360. Dacă treaba merge bine, nu-i deloc de neconceput ca EA să porteze Tiberium Wars şi pe Xbox 360. Cândva.
