Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow lansat la apă

S-ar putea să te întrebi de ce le-a luat trei ani celor de la Bethesda pentru a mai scoate un joc Pirates of the Caribbean - şi încă unul de toată jena, se pare - când de fapt motivul e cât se poate de evident: it's all about the booty, mates! Noul joc Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow tocmai a fost lansat pe PC şi PS2 şi, după cum îi sugerează titlul, nici măcar nu e bazat pe viitorul sequel cinematografic "Dead Man's Chest", ci pe filmul original "The Curse of the Black Pearl" din 2003.

PotC: The Legend of Jack Sparrow a fost creat de 7 Studios şi Bethesda Softworks, sub licenţă Buena Vista Games, şi îi pune pe jucători în cizmele împuţite ale căpitanului Jack Sparrow (glăsuit în joc chiar de Johnny Depp), împreună cu Will Turner şi Elizabeth Swann.

"Players can hack and slash their way through a dozen locations with fully interactive environments and varied gameplay. Action will take place in a variety of lush, immersive settings, including burning buildings, wrecked ships and moonlit caves.

With co-op multiplayer mode, players can take on the game’s challenges with a friend and play side-by-side. As the game progresses, players will be rewarded with advanced combos and moves to defeat a wide range of new and varied foes."

Primele scoruri acordate în testele versiunii de PS2 bat pe la un mizerabil 5/10, lăsându-ne să ne imaginăm oripilaţi despre "calitatea" portării pe PC. Cândva existau indicii şi în privinţa unei versiuni de Xbox, dar până la urmă se pare că aceasta a fost aruncată peste bord. Poate era mai bine să facă la fel şi cu celelalte două...
