The Godfather (se) trage pe Xbox 360 şi PSP în septembrie

Apăruse deja pe PC, PS2 şi Xbox cu mai bine de trei luni în urmă, însă Xbox 360-ul celor de la Microsoft - şi PSP-ul celor de la Sony - nu au pupat nici până acum o versiune finală a jocului The Godfather. Ambele au fost amintite ieri într-un comunicat Electronic Arts, în care se anunţa că The Godfather va ieşi în septembrie pentru Xbox 360 şi PSP. Dezvoltat de EA Redwood Shores, jocul va avea aceleaşi obiective de îndeplinire a unor ordine, câştigare de respect, avansare în rândul Familiei Corleone şi subjugare a New York-ului.

"Custom-built for the Xbox 360, players will choose their path in this rough and tough world with enhanced BlackHand combat, enhanced graphics and HDTV support. On their way to the top, players will embark on missions to take down new compounds, take over new venues and contract high-risk hits.

The Godfather Mob Wars is a new experience for the PSP system that will engage gamers in a turf war as you take over territory in the strategic Mob Wars mode unique to the PSP version of the game. Maneuver your mobsters and play the right cards to take control of NYC one territory at a time."

Cu doar două luni rămase până în septembrie, nici acum nu există încă prea multe materiale grafice pentru versiunea next-gen a lui The Godfather, ceea ce ridică oareşce semne de întrebare cu privire la calitatea vizuală a jocului. Din moment ce gameplay-ul oricum nu cred că va fi cu nimic mai răsărit.
