The Red Dead Redemption short film that initially aired on FOX late last month, is now available in full 29-minute length. It was created and directed by John Hillcoat (The Road, The Proposition movies) using only in-game assets and technology from Rockstar's blockbuster western action game, and it chronicles a slice-in-time of protagonist John Marston as he tracks down his former fellow outlaw and friend, Bill Williamson. Along the way, Marston encounters many of Red Dead Redemption's eclectic cast of dreamers, misfits and liars. Using the game's world as a virtual film studio, Hillcoat re-imagines Marston's pursuit of justice and salvation.
