The King of Fighters XIII continues SNK Playmore's ass-kicking series, bringing - among many others - the "climax of the Ash [Crimson] saga". Some 31 playable characters will battle it out in this game, throughout new stages (including a jungle, a sumo arena, and a bus terminal), and using some new gameplay systems (including EX moves, Drive Cancel, and Hyper Drive Mode), while removing a few of the older ones. KOF XIII was first released in Japan for the arcades in summer 2010, followed by an international release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2011.
